Microsoft has released a preview for a handy tool which will allow you to test your System Center 2016 management packs for compatibility and compliance to best practices get it here.
This is a great addition to the System Center tool set.
The Visual Studio Authoring Extensions (VSAE) has been updated for SCOM 2016, grab it here.

A new tool has been released to assist in creating management packs for network monitoring get it here
I know from experience that having to walk a MIB file manually in order to determine which OIDs to use can be a tedious process. Tools like this one should make the whole experience much more manageable.
Tool Details
There is an issue with the October cumulative updates (KB3194798, KB3192392, KB3185330 & KB3185331) for all windows versions which is causing the SCOM console to crash.

The Product Group is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for it. You will find an announcement on the SCOM Team blog (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/momteam/) once the fix for this issue is availabe.
